George Glass, Owner of Mountain Hyperbarics attended the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado’s Engaging Minds symposium on Friday, November 1st. The symposium covered topics such as Resilience, Recovery and Proven Strategies to Rebuild Lives to Living with Brain Injury. Dr. Kreutzer from Virginia Commonwealth University was the morning’s keynote speaker and an incredible wealth of knowledge from over 30 years of studying the psychological effects of brain injury. In addition, Lenore Hawley, MSSW, LCSW, CBIST, from the Craig Institute used her 40 years of experience working with people suffering from brain injuries to enlighten us on self-advocacy.
